THE FIRST ALBUM

The first work, Black Sabbath, recorded in 1970, was a great success (eighth in the British ratings) due in large part to the historical atmosphere of compositions such as "Black Sabbath", "The Wizard" and "NIB"

The album, For many, was the opening of a more original Rock, both in sound and in the sense referred to letters. Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin, other influential bands in the Heavy metal of the time, had a sound more melodic and closer to other styles such as Blues and Rock n 'roll. The music of the Sabbath at first had similar features, but with time the band invested in a heavier and darker themes sound, with explicit references to "demons" and issues involving the occult, which was new and controversial at the time.
